Ultrasonic Terms and Conditions

  • 1. Introduction

    Ultrasonic is a FinTech and citizen services platform offering a variety of services to individuals and businesses. These include travel bookings (flights, hotels, buses, trains), financial services (money transfers, AEPS, Micro ATMs, M-POS), insurance (life, health, and general), utility payments (mobile/DTH recharge, bill payments), and other related services. Ultrasonic is authorized by various partners to deliver these services under the applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.

  • 2. Definition

    Ultrasonic refers to users or agents operating under the platform who are authorized to deliver financial and citizen services in accordance with Ultrasonic’s policies and the guidelines of relevant authorities.

  • 3. Obligations and Responsibilities
    • Operate strictly under the guidelines, regulations, and standard operating procedures issued by Ultrasonic or relevant authorities.
    • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage to safeguard against business risks.
    • Manage operations independently and at their own expense to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Recruit and manage personnel only with prior written approval from Ultrasonic, ensuring full compliance with labor laws and professional standards.
    • Use only Ultrasonic-approved third-party software that adheres to legal and industry regulations, and does not interfere with Ultrasonic’s systems.
    • Handle and store customer data responsibly and securely in compliance with IT and data protection laws.
    • Maintain full transparency in service charges and inform customers clearly before providing any services.
    • Refrain from charging unauthorized fees or engaging in any unauthorized financial transactions.
    • Uphold professionalism, treat customers with respect, and avoid any form of misconduct or coercion.
    • Report security breaches or customer disputes to Ultrasonic immediately and assist in their resolution.
  • 4. Value and Wallet Management
    • Wallets must be funded using the individual’s or company’s own verified bank accounts.
    • Third-party transactions for wallet funding are strictly prohibited.
    • Any discrepancies in wallet funding must be addressed and resolved within 3 banking hours of notification.
    • Ultrasonic is not responsible for chargebacks resulting from unauthorized or third-party transactions.
  • 5. Cash Management
    • Select users may be authorized to handle cash for service delivery in specific regions.
    • These users bear full responsibility for cash handling and must ensure timely settlement and verification of currency authenticity.
  • 6. Transaction Settlement
    • Transaction reports will be available through Ultrasonic’s online platform.
    • Any risk related to transactions beyond available balance or due to fraudulent activity lies solely with the user.
    • In case of a dispute such as a chargeback, supporting documents must be provided within the prescribed period, failing which the transaction may be reversed.
  • 7. Data Protection and Compliance
    • Users must comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and all applicable data protection laws.
    • All customer and transaction data must be securely stored within Indian jurisdiction.
  • 7. Termination
    • Ultrasonic reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its platform or services at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
    • Upon termination, the user must cease all activity on the platform and relinquish any associated access.
  • 8. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
    • Disputes must first be attempted to be resolved amicably within 30 days of written notice.
    • If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
    • Proceedings will be conducted in English, and jurisdiction shall lie with the courts of New Delhi.
